NOTICE TO HIGHWAY BOARDS.
WITH this Gazette is forwarded a copy of "The Highway Boards Empowering Act, 1871," parts II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII, of which were extended to the Highway Districts of this Province by the Superintendent’s proclamation of the 29th December, 1871.
PROCLAMATION.
By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled "An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs," (Session 4, No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the publication hereof, the said Act shall come into operation within the District of
CAMBRIDGE NORTH TOWNSHIP,
as constituted under "The Highways Act, 1871."
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province of Auckland, this thirteenth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 13th February, 1872.
IT is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Lease hereunder named, and the Lessee’s estate therein determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under "The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871," on and after the 1st proximo.

IN pursuance of the 20th section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1870," it is hereby notified for general information that application has been made to me by Mr. Joseph Clark.
