In pursuance of the fifth section of “The Highways Act, 1871,” I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the Waitakerei West Highway District, and I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at the “Shakespeare Hotel,” Auckland, on Tuesday the twelfth day of March proximo, at two o’clock in the afternoon, and James Stewart, Esq., C.E., to be the Chairman of such meeting.
