AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.
PROCLAMATION.
By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
I, THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, by virtue of the powers delegated to me by His Excellency the Governor, under “The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871,” do hereby proclaim all lands within the boundaries of the Hauraki Gold Mining District, situate seaward of the line of high-water mark, as the same existed on the 20th day of April, 1868, to be exempt from occupation for mining purposes, machine sites, business or residence sites.

has been appointed by the City Council of Auckland to act as a Commissioner of the Board of Commissioners, under “The Auckland Improvement (Albert Barrack Reserves) Act, 1872,” of the General Assembly.
