TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon of Monday, the 19th instant, from persons willing to contract for the Supply of Rations to the Mount Eden Gaol for the period of four months, commencing on the 1st of March next.

Printed forms of Tender, and copies of the conditions and specifications can be obtained at this Office.

THE LAND TRANSFER ACT, 1870.

LAND BROKER’S LICENCE.

In pursuance of the power for this purpose vested in me under “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” I William Serton Moorhouse, Esquire, Registrar General of Land under the said Act, do hereby, with the sanction of His Excellency the Governor, License

John Dickenson Jackson of Onehunga, to be a Land Broker for transacting business under the provisions of the said Act.

THE undersigned, FREDERICK CLARENCE DEAN, hereby make application to Register “THE MORNING LIGHT GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED,” under the provisions of the “Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and the “Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts, 1869 and 1870,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely —

  1. The name and style of the Company is, The Morning Light Gold Mining Company, Registered.
  2. The place of operations is at the Hape Creek, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Four thousand pounds in 4000 shares of One pound each.
  4. The amount already paid up is in cash Nil, and in partly paid up shares allotted to shareholders Two thousand pounds.
  5. The name of the Manager is Frederick C. Dean.
  6. The Office of the Company is at Owen Street, Grahamstown.
