PROCLAMATION.
By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
By virtue of the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent under the 11th Section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867," I do hereby temporarily reserve as a site for a Public Cemetery, until the next Session of the Auckland Provincial Council, all that piece or parcel of land situate at Matakohe, and described in the Schedule hereunder.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, this third day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land containing ten acres three roods and thirty-two perches in the Parish of Matakohe, County of Marsden, and being allotment No. 37 of the suburbs of Matakohe. Bounded towards the North by a road one thousand and forty links towards the East by allotment No. 89; five hundred and sixty-two links towards the South-East by allotment No. 38, nine hundred and eighty-eight links towards the South by a road five hundred and eighty-three links towards the North-West by a line four hundred links again towards the South-West by a line three hundred and forty-one links and again towards the North-West by a road five hundred and forty-three links.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 9th February, 1872.
It is hereby notified that a Lease has been refused to the applicant specified in the Schedule hereunder, and that the land therein mentioned, in so far as not otherwise legally occupied, is now open for occupation.
Plans may be seen at the Engineer’s Office, Grahamstown.

SCHEDULE.
John Batten; 15 years’ lease of 10 acres more or less of auriferous quartz land, Grahamstown Flat, adjoining the "Imperial Crown" and "Herald" Leases; ground known as "Two Brothers" claim, part held under Miner’s Rights, and part unoccupied ground; application dated 6th December, 1871.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

It is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Lease hereunder named, and the Lessees’ estate therein determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under "The Gold
