NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.


NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Mangonui on the 2nd of January next, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant. Name and Locality of Block. Boundaries of the Lands as translated from the Claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Pene Koroko, Maihi Te Huhu, Tapana Taurere, Rameka Wahapu, Rawiri Taringa, Rawiri Kaiwaka, Makoare Te Kakati, Inoka Tutangiora, Keremeneta, Mita Te Wharewhiti, Herewini Ruahuni, and Mata Taomarere Muriwhenua Tika, Mangonui Bounded on the east by the Waitangi stream; on the north by the sea, and lying westward of Tom Bowline’s Bay, near North Cape The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Mangonui.
Hari Hongi Ika Te Karaka, Whangaroa Adjoining Marutahia, now belonging to Mr. Christie, Whangaroa Harbour
Hari Hongi, and Paora Ururoa Opuhiti, Whangaroa Lying on the Whangaroa Harbour near the hill known as St. Paul’s
Timoti Ngatoti, and Hohepa Whatuwiwi, Mangonui Adjoining Parakaraka, and lying on Doubtless Bay
Rakina Waiaua, Kingi Rakina, and Haki Wikaitaia Oparihi, Mangonui Lying on the Harbour of Mangonui, and opposite the island
Hare Te Heihei, and Wiremu Naihi Motukahakaha, Mangonui The boundary commences at Ohaiareao and goes straight on to Puke Tarata, turns here and goes to Te Tiki-a-te-Hra, then turns and goes to Okarehe, turns again and goes to Poutu, then falls into the Tau-a-Rua, and then goes by the beach of Motukahakaha to Ohaiareao at Rangikariri
Tuhua, Rapine, Tari, Te Para, and Wharengere Takau, Mangonui The boundary commences at Rangikariri, and goes along on the undermentioned lands:--Pararuhe, Matukutuku, Nihonoho, Omanuhiri, Oruatapu, Roto Potaka, Te Kowai, Bay of Islands, Oneone, Awhia, Papo, Tapairu, Puke Kaitangata, Matatua, Puke-a-te-hurihanga, Pakuhia, Kopua, Kawau, Oropi-o-te-Ainga, Te Kowhai, Wai Moho, and goes by the beach to Rangikariri
Rameka, Hone Tarawau, Enoka, and Wiremu Tamihana Toatoa, Mangonui The boundary commences at Te Toatoa, and goes along on the undermentioned lands:--Patunga-a-te-Ata, Whakapu, Te Whangaroa, Manawa Tutai, Te Whanawhana, and then turns and goes to Te Toatoa
Timoti Puhipi, Kihirini Te Hen, and Rangiotea Te Whareumu Moringache, near Ahipara Bounded on the north-west by the sea; on the north-east by land belonging to Messrs. Reid and Woon; on the south-west by a creek called Tukeke; and on the south-east by the Rangi
