PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 2nd November, 1872.
IT is hereby notified that the Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed on Monday the 11th instant, in commemoration of the Birthday of His Royal Highness the PRINCE OF WALES.

PROCLAMATION.
By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
PURSUANT to the authority in me vested, I, Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim and declare that the twenty-eighth Session of the Provincial Council shall be holden at Auckland, and shall commence at two o’clock in the afternoon of Tuesday, the nineteenth day of November proximo, and the Members of the said Council are hereby warned to give their attendance at the same time and place accordingly.
Given at Auckland, under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, this thirty-first day of October, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

PROCLAMATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” I do hereby proclaim and declare that all those parcels of land hereinafter mentioned shall be opened for bona fide occupation, under the provisions of the said Act, on and after Tuesday, the third day of December, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
Given at Auckland, under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province, this thirty-first day of October, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

SCHEDULE.
All the unsold and unappropriated lands in the Manaia, Whangarei, and Tamaterau Blocks, in the District of Whangarei, County of Marsden.
Application for any of the land set-forth above must be made to Mr. J. J. Wilson, Land Surveyor, at “The Nook,” Parua Bay, Whangarei.
