PROCLAMATION.
By JOSEPH MAY, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
By virtue of the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent under the 11th section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867," I do hereby temporarily reserve as a residence site for the permanent marker at the Mount Eden Rifle Range, until the next session of the Auckland Provincial Council, all that piece or parcel of land containing one rood more or less, and being portion of allotment No. 107 of section No. 6 of the suburbs of Auckland.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, this tenth day of September, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

PROCLAMATION.
By JOSEPH MAY, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Auckland in the Colony of New Zealand.
By virtue of the powers in the Superintendent vested, I do hereby proclaim and declare that I have set apart as a Gunpowder Anchorage, within the Harbour of Shortland, all that part of the anchorage ground seaward of a line drawn due south from the Magazine on the eastern shore of the harbour to the Telegraph pillars on the opposite shore; and I do further proclaim the Gunpowder Magazine near Pukihinau Creek, on the eastern shore of the harbour, to be a Public Magazine, and that no gunpowder or other explosive substance shall be landed or shipped at any wharf, pier, or landing place on the eastern shore of the said harbour, except at the Gunpowder Wharf, adjoining the Magazine.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province, at Auckland, in the said Province, this twenty-fifth day of September, in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

THE subjoined Regulations have been made relative to the receipt, storage, and delivery of Gunpowder in the new Magazine at Grahamstown.

REGULATIONS.
1st. No person shall be allowed to enter the Magazine with anything on, or about his person, which may be liable to cause ignition or explosion of any gunpowder; and it is the imperative duty of the Magazine-keeper to see that this regulation is strictly enforced.
