PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IT is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Leases hereunder named, and the Lessees’ estate therein respectively determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under sections 53, 54, and 55 of “The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871.”

SCHEDULE.

The Golden Horn Gold Mining Company, Registered (assigned to the South Lead Gold Mining Company, Registered); 15 years’ lease of 6 acres 1 rood, and 24 perches, 19 men’s ground, situated at Tararu. Lease dated 14th April, 1870.

The Crystal Palace Gold Mining Company, Registered; 15 years’ lease of 10 acres 3 roods and 24 perches, 32 men’s ground, adjoining the late “Victoria and Albion,” and late “Jupiter” claims, Karaka block. Lease dated 1st August, 1871.

DANIEL TOOKEY, of Grahamstown; 15 years’ lease of 12 acres 1 rood and 5 perches, 36 men’s ground, situated near the Hape Creek, adjoining a Native reserve. Lease dated 25th day of September, 1871.

OWEN HUMPHRIES, HARRY OHLSON, PETER WOOD, and JAMES HOSIE: 15 years’ lease of 12 acres 1 rood and 21 perches, 36 men’s ground, situated at Upper Tararu, adjoining the “Lowland Lass” claim. Lease dated 20th March, 1871.

PROCLAMATION.

By JOSEPH MAY, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

BY virtue of power and authority vested in the Superintendent under the eleventh Section of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” I do hereby temporarily reserve as a place for Public Recreation, until the next Session of the Auckland Provincial Council, all that piece or parcel of land situated in the Town of Buffalo, and described in the Schedule hereunder.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, this twenty-second day of August, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

SCHEDULE.

All that piece or parcel of land containing twenty acres one rood and two perches and being allotment number thirty-two of the Town of Buffalo, in the parish of Kapanga, Queen’s County, and being bounded towards the north-east by allotment number twenty-three of the suburbs of the Town of Buffalo aforesaid; towards the south-east by part of the south-eastern boundary of the Town of Buffalo aforesaid; towards the south-west by allotment number thirty-one of the Town of Buffalo aforesaid; and towards the south-east by allotment number thirty-one aforesaid; again towards the south-west by part of allotment number twenty-nine and allotments numbers twenty-eight and twenty-seven of the Town of Buffalo aforesaid, the southern side of a
