PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the fourth Section of "The Highways Act, 1871," I do hereby alter and amend the boundaries of the Opotiki Highway District as hereunder set forth.

Given under my hand at Auckland this twenty-second day of January, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

The Opotiki Highway District.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the north by high water mark of the sea from the Waiotahi river to the Opape river; towards the east by the Opape river aforesaid from its mouth to the confiscation boundary line; towards the south by the confiscation boundary line aforesaid from its intersection by the Opape river to the place of its intersection by the Waiotahi river, and towards the west by the Waiotahi river aforesaid from the confiscation boundary to the sea, the place of commencement. Exclusive of the Town of Opotiki Highway District.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of "The Highways Act, 1871," that certified copies of the Assessment Lists for the Hamilton East Township, and Tauranga North Township Highway Districts respectively, have been forwarded to this Office.

PROCLAMATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled "An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs," (Session I, No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the publication hereof, the said Act shall come into operation within the District of Hamilton East Township, as constituted under "The Highways Act, 1871."

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province of Auckland, this twenty-second day of January, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 22nd January, 1872.

In accordance with the 192nd Section of "The Municipal Corporations' Act, 1867," of the General Assembly, it is hereby notified that the under-mentioned Regulations of the Council of the City of Auckland, namely, "A Regulation for Verandahs," and "A Regulation for driving Cattle," were severally made under special Order of the said Council, dated respectively the thirteenth day of November, 1871, confirmed the eighteenth day of December, 1871, and Sealed with the Common Seal of the Council of the said City the twentieth day of December, 1871, and are deposited for inspection of any person interested therein at the Office of the said Council.
