AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 10th May, 1872.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the unappropriated lands in the Township and Suburbs of Gisborne, situate at Turanganui, Poverty Bay, in the County of Stafford, having been handed over for administration to the Provincial Government of the Province of Auckland, will shortly be offered for sale at Gisborne. Applications for lands to be put up for sale will be received at this Office.

to be an Inspector of Brands for the East Coast District, under “The Registration of Brands Act, 1871.”

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by “The Sheep Act, 1863,” I do hereby extinguish the District heretofore existing under the said Act, and known as “The East Coast Sheep District;” and in lieu thereof I do hereby appoint and define all that portion of the Province of Auckland lying to the south-eastward of a right line drawn from Maraue Point on the east coast of the said Province to the intersection of the 177th degree of east longitude, with the 39th parallel of south latitude, to be a District for the purposes of the said Act, to be known by the name of the EAST COAST SHEEP DISTRICT.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this fifteenth day of May, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by “The Registration of Brands Act, 1871,” I do hereby constitute and appoint all that portion of the Province of Auckland lying to the south-eastward of a right line drawn from Marau Point on the east coast of the said Province to the intersection of the 177th degree of east longitude, with the 39th parallel of south latitude, to be a District for the purposes of the said Act, to be known by the name of the EAST COAST DISTRICT.

to be an Auditor for the Waiotahi Highway District, in the place and stead of Mr. Thomas Wayth Gudgeon, resigned.

Mr. John Glasson
for permission to construct a Dam across Whangamaire Creek, Karaka, together with the necessary Water-right.
