IT is hereby notified that the applications for Mining Leases set forth in the Schedule hereunder have been withdrawn.

SCHEDULE.

The English Gold Mining Company, applied for by W. H. Oldrey; 15 years’ lease of 16 acres more or less of auriferous ground situated on the Waiotahi Spur, and bounded by the “St. Andrews,” “Dividend,” “Shamrock Extended,” and “New Caledonia” Claims, Karaka Block; application dated 17th October, 1871; withdrawn 20th March, 1872.

The Star of the Thames Gold Mining Company, applied for by Francis Joseph Wardell; 15 years’ lease of 4 acres, more or less, known as the “Shooting Star” Claim, situated on the Moanataiari Creek, bounded by the “Middle Star,” “Watchman,” and “Providence” Claims, Karaka Block; application dated 4th December, 1871; withdrawn 14th March, 1872.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority vested in me by the provisions of “The Marine Act, 1867,” I do hereby impose and levy the following rates, dues, and charges for the use of the ONEHUNGA Wharf, and for the landing of goods, wares, merchandise, and cattle, thereat and thereon: that is to say—

FOR THE USE OF THE SAID WHARF.

Every vessel for each day it occupies a berth at, or is fastened to the Wharf, per ton up to 150 tons ... 0 0½

Every waggon (not being an express waggon), drawn by one horse ... 1 0
