PROCLAMATION.
By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
I, THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, by virtue of the powers in me vested by “The Protection of Animals Act, 1867,” and the delegation of powers to me thereunder by His Excellency the Governor, do hereby proclaim and declare that Game shall be open to be hunted, shot, taken, or killed, within the Province of Auckland, during the months of May, June and July, in this present year; but that Partridges and Swans shall not be so hunted, shot, taken, or killed.
Given under my hand and seal, at Auckland, this thirtieth day of March, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

PROCLAMATION.
By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority vested in me under “The Protection of Animals Act Amendment Act, 1868,” I do hereby proclaim and declare that all the Native Game mentioned in the fifth Schedule to “The Protection of Animals Act, 1867,” as amended by the above recited Act, except Curlew, may be hunted, shot, taken or killed within the Province of Auckland, during the months of April, May, June, July, and August, in the present year.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
I HEREBY notify for public information that the land mentioned and described in the Schedule hereunder is a Public Road.
Given under my hand at Auckland this twenty-ninth day of March, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Province of Auckland, being part of the Eastern portion of Allotment number thirty-eight, in the Parish of Opaheke, and County of Eden, containing two acres and sixteen perches, more or less. Bounded towards the North by North-Eastern portion of the said allotment number thirty-eight, two thousand one hundred links; towards the East by a Government Reserve one hundred links; towards the South by South-Eastern boundary of allotment number thirty-eight aforesaid, two thousand one hundred links; and towards the West by its junction with the Great South Road one
