WILLIAM MOORE and ALFRED F. WATKINS; 15 years’
lease of 10 acres, quartz reef, situated about one
mile West of the "Vulcan" lease, bounded on
all sides by unoccupied ground; known as the
"Nightingale" Claim. Application received in
Warden’s Office, Grahamstown, at 12.45 p.m. on
the 6th February, 1871, R.B. 819.

OLIVER SORENSON; 15 years’ lease of 16 acres, quartz
reef, bounded on the South-east by the "Nightingale"
lease; about a mile South-west of the
"Vulcan" leasehold, Tararu Block, known as
the "Scandinavian" Claim. Application received
in Warden’s Office, Grahamstown, at 10.15
am. on the 7th February, 1871, R.B. 820.

IN pursuance of the sixth clause of "The Slaughterhouse Act, 1866," it is hereby notified that an
application has been made to me by

J. FISHER, of Auckland,

for a private slaughter-house licence to the premises
known as Shepherd’s Farm, adjoining Mr. Farmer’s
paddock, near Ellerslie.
Objections against the granting of such Licence must
be lodged at this Office within one calendar month
from the date of publication hereof.

IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance of sub-
section 3 of section 35 of the Regulations for the
granting of Mining Leases, re-entry has been made by
the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Leases here-
under described, and the Lessees’ estate therein deter-
mined, and that the lands therein mentioned are now
open for occupation.

dated 19th March, 1870.
