PROCLAMATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority in me vested by the provisions of "The Marine Act, 1867," I, Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby define the limits and boundaries, for the purposes of the said recited Act, of the undernominated wharf, that is to say,

Tararu Wharf.

Bounded on the East by Tararu Point, and on the North, West, and South by the sea.

Given at Auckland, under my hand and the public seal of the said Province this tenth day of February One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority vested in me by the provisions of "The Marine Act, 1867," I do hereby impose and levy the following rates dues and charges for the use of the Tararu Wharf, and for the landing of goods, wares, merchandise, and cattle thereat and thereon, that is to say —

General, or Provincial, and licensed watermen when on duty who shall pass on to or repass from off the said wharf ... 0 1

For goods of every description taken upon the said wharf to be shipped or for any purpose whatsoever, or landed or placed thereon for delivery, for every ton or part of a ton ... 1 0

For each and every horse, ass, mule and neat cattle which shall go or be taken upon the said wharf ... 1 0

For each and every sheep, pig, or goat which shall go or be taken upon the said wharf ... 0 1

And I do also hereby appoint that the said rates, dues and charges, and none other, shall be levied on and after this date.

HAURAKI GOLDFIELD.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 9th February, 1871.

IN pursuance of the 29th Section of "The Goldfields Act, 1866," and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant Leases for Gold Mining purposes to the Applicants specified in the Schedule hereunder unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Leases.

Copies of the Applications made, and Plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Grahamstown.
