The Multum-in-Parvo Gold Mining Company, Registered; applied for by John Daires; 15 years' lease of 4 acres, bounded by the "Deedside," "Jamaica," "Ne Plus Ultra," and "Bank of New Zealand" claims, Karaka Block; ground held under Miners' Rights and known as the "Mulhum-in-Parvo" and "Harmonic" claims; application received in Warden's Office, Grahamstown, at 2:30 pm, on the 10th November, 1871.

William Bishop junior, of Thames Goldfields, Miner; 15 years' lease of 16 acres; bounded on the north-east and west by unoccupied ground, and on the south by a lease adjoining the "New Year's Gift," applied for by Mr. Horsbrough, Upper Tararu; ground held under Leasing Regulations; application (R.B. 923) dated 27th June, 1871.

COROMANDEL GOLDFIELD.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

In pursuance of the 29th section of "The Goldfields Act, 1866," and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant Leases for Gold Mining purposes to the Applicants specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such leases.

Copies of the applications made, and plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden's Office, Coromandel.

William Horne; 15 years' lease of 16½ acres of auriferous land, situated near the saddle of the Tokatea Range and bounded on the south by the "Puketutu" Company's lease, on the west by a lease already applied for by Wm. Horne and known as the "Saddle" lease, and on the north and east by unoccupied ground; ground not held under Miners' Rights; application received in Warden's Office, Coromandel, at 10 am, on the 10th November, 1871.

The Siege of Paris Gold Mining Company, Registered, applied for by G. G. Mackay; 15 years' lease of 5 acres of quartz land situated on the Tokatea Range, adjoining the "French Republic" claim; ground held under Miners' Rights of "Siege of Paris" claim; application received in Warden's Office, Coromandel, at 11:5 am on the 11th November, 1871.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

It is hereby notified that a Writ, issued on the 1st instant, for the election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of Auckland City West, has been returned to this Office with a certificate endorsed thereon by the Returning Officer, to the effect that

And I do hereby further notify that the fees and charges set forth in the Schedule annexed to the notification of the appointment of the said Peter Kassidy Devlin, published in the Provincial Government Gazette No. 49, dated October, 31st, 1870, page 412, may be taken and charged by the said Keeper.
