PROCLAMATION.
By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
PURSUANT to the authority in me vested, I, THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim and declare that the twenty-seventh Session of the Provincial Council shall be holden at Auckland, and shall commence at two o’clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, the twenty-second day of November instant: and the Members of the said Council are hereby warned to give their attendance at the same time and place accordingly.
Given, at Auckland, under my hand and the public seal of the said Province, this eighteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

HAURAKI GOLDFIELD
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN pursuance of the 29th section of “The Goldfields Act, 1866,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant Leases for Gold Mining purposes to the applicants specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shewn against granting such Leases.
Copies of the applications made, and plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Grahamstown.

RICHARD KENNAN, of Grahamstown, Mining Agent: 15 years’ lease of 4 acres, bounded by the “Bank of New Zealand,” “Multum-in-Parvo,” and “Nolan’s Candelight” Claims, Karaka; ground held under Miners’ Rights, and known as the “Jamaica” and “Deeside” Claims; application received in Warden’s Office, Grahamstown, at 2:45 p.m., on the 1st November, 1871.—R.B. 981.
