of the office of Provincial Treasurer for this Province; and that I have this day appointed
William John Hurst, Esq.,
to be Provincial Treasurer in his stead.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

I HEREBY notify that the application for a Mining Lease set forth in the Schedule hereunder, has been withdrawn.

SCHEDULE.

The Imperial Crown Gold Mining Company, applied for by Joseph Reeve; 15 years’ lease of 11 acres, bounded by “Imperial Crown” leases, and “Manakau,” “Waiotahi,” “Duke of Magenta,” and “Prince Imperial” claims, Karaka; application (R.B. 858) dated 8th May, 1871.


PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

In pursuance of the 20th section of “The Goldfields Act, 1866,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes to the applicant specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Lease.
