SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Whananake Block, County of Bedford, Province of Auckland, and containing 500 acres, more or less; bounded towards the north-east, east, and south-east by high-water mark of the sea; towards the south-west by high-water mark of the sea aforesaid, high-water mark of the Whananake river, and by lines 586 and 2,208 links; towards the north-west by lines 1,860 and 1,050 links; again towards the south-west by a line 2,097 links; again towards the south-east and south by high-water mark of Whananake harbour; towards the west by high water of the Waikeri Creek, and by a line 800 links; and again towards the north west by a line 9,560 links.

I HEREBY notify, for public information, that the land mentioned and described in the Schedule hereunder is a Public Road.

SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land in the District of Hauraki, Queen’s County in the Province of Auckland containing by admeasurement two roods and twelve perches, more or less, and being part of a block of land known by the name of Waitangirua, No. 1,227, better known as Block 27 on the Record Map of the Town of Shortland. Bounded towards the north-west by Rolleston-street, 108 links, towards the north-east by other part of the aforesaid Waitangirua Block, 578 links, towards the south-east by Bowen-street, 100 links, and towards the south-west by other part of the aforesaid Waitangirua Block, 563 links.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by the fourth section of “The Highways Act 1871,” I do hereby alter and amend the boundaries of the Cambridge Highway District as hereunder set forth.

THE CAMBRIDGE HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
AMENDED BOUNDARIES.
Bounded on the north-east by the centre of the Mangaone and Mangaomapu Rivers to its junction with the road fronting lot 58 in the parish of Hautapu; on the north by the centre of said road to its junction with a road forming the western boundary of lots 181 and 180 in the said parish, thence on the west by the centre of said road; on the north-east by the centre of proposed tramway, fronting said lot 180; again on the west by the western boundary of lot 178; again on the north by the northern boundary of lots 178 and 177; again on the west and north by the western and northern boundaries of lot 174; again on the west and north by the centre of a road forming the western and northern boundary of lot 171 in the said parish; again on the west by western boundary of lots 172 and 173; again on the north by northern boundary of lot 173 in the said parish, and the same line produced to its intersection with the boundary line of the confiscated territory; on the north-east by the boundary of the said confiscated territory to Kopuahau; on the south-east by the confiscation boundary line to its junction with the Waikato River; on the south and south-west by the centre of said river to its junction with the Tamahere Creek; thence by the centre of said Creek to its junction with the Mangaone stream; exclusive of the lands comprised within the boundaries of the Town of Cambridge North, together with all roads and streets traversing the said Township.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by the fourth section of “The Highways Act 1871,” I do hereby notify that all that portion of the Province of Auckland hereunder described shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name prefixed thereto, that is to say:
THE CAMBRIDGE NORTH TOWNSHIP HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the north by rural allotments Nos. 184, 195, 196, 209, and 210, of the parish of Hautapu, Banks’ County, towards the east by rural allotments Nos. 215, 216, and 230, of aforesaid parish to the Karaparera Gully, thence by said Gully and the Karaparera River to the junction of the latter with the Waikato River, towards the south by the Waikato River aforesaid, towards the west by the centre of the road which forms the eastern boundary of allotments numbers 161, 1, and part of 8, of the parish beforenamed to allotment number 215 aforesaid, the place of commencement.
