I HEREBY notify that
James Moran
has been licensed to act as a Goldfields Surveyor
within the Province of Auckland.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
In pursuance of the 5th section of “The Highways Act, 1871,” I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the
Arch Hill Highway District,
and I do appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to
take place at Edgecombe’s Hotel, Great North Road,
on Monday the 24th instant, at two o’clock in the
afternoon, and Mr. James Woodward to be Chairman
of such meeting.

of our Lord One thousand eight hundred

me by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867,”
I do hereby appoint
Mr. Asher Asher
to be and be called a Fire Inspector under the said
Act for the Borough of Auckland, within the said
Province.

I, the undersigned, George Lindsay, hereby
make application to register “The Goldfinch
Gold Mining Company, Registered,” under the
provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and “The Mining Companies’
Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts, 1869 and
1870,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that
the following statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular, namely—

That the name and style of the Company is
The Goldfinch Gold Mining Company, Registered. -
The place of operations is at the Moanataiari
Creek, at the Thames Goldfields, in the Province of
Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand. -
The nominal capital of the Company is Twelve
thousand five hundred pounds of Five thousand shares
of Two pounds ten shillings each. -
The amount paid up is Nil, in partly paid up
shares Seven thousand five hundred pounds allotted
to the shareholders. -
The name of the Manager is George Lindsay.

The office of the Company is in Owen-street,
Grahamstown. -
