SCHEDULE.
EUGENE O’RILLEY, THOMAS HOWE, JAMES CUMMINS, WILLIAM WALSH, JAMES GLEESON, THOMAS SHEEHAN, and JAMES MORAN; 15 years’ lease of 15 acres, quartz mining land, situated at Keven’s Point, Coromandel, bounded on the south by the claim of the "Venus" Gold Mining Company, and the lease of Woolam’s and McGregor, on the east by the "Pacific" lease, north by unoccupied ground, and west by the harbour, known as the "Green Harp Claim;" partly held under Miners’ Rights; application received in Warden’s Office, Coromandel, at 12:20 p.m., 17th June, 1871.
FREDERICK B. PERRETT, MARTIN McDONNELL, DAVID BENNETT, JOHN B. BEECHE, JEREMIAH SULLIVAN, RICHARD A. PLAYER, JOHN HENRY ANDREW, EUSEBIUS WILSON; 15 years’ lease of 16 acres, situated on the Waiau Ranges west of Castle Rock, and comprising ground known as the "Emily" Claim, the "Homeward Bound" Claim, the "Pawkawhau," parts of the "Grand Junction," and "Royal Standard," and bounded by the "Ludlow Castle" on one side and the "Young Republic" on another side; known as the "Emily" Claim; partly held under Miners’ Rights; application received in Warden’s Office, Coromandel, at 1 p.m., 17th June, 1871.
WILLIAM HORNE, 10 years’ lease of 10 acres, more or less, situated on the spur immediately behind the "New Zealand" Company’s and the "Nil Desperandum" Company’s Batteries, being partly unoccupied ground, comprising the ground abandoned by the "Nil Desperandum" Claim; partly held under Miners’ Rights; easements required; the sole right and use of tunnel 400 long (with sufficient space to tip mullock at the mouth of the tunnel) from the underground workings to the "Nil Desperandum" Company’s Battery; application received in Warden’s Office, Coromandel, at 10:15 a.m., 19th June, 1871.
JAMES ANDERSON, JAMES VIZARD, JOHN HEENAN and JOHN CORRIGAN, applied for by John Brame; 15 years’ lease of 16 acres situated on the spur between the Pukewhau Creek and the Aratapu Creek, on the Waihu block, west of Castle Rock, adjoining the ground applied for under lease by John Brame and others, now working the "Emily" Claim; ground not held under Miners’ Rights, formerly known as the "Pride of the Hills," and "Alabama" Claims; application received in Warden’s Office, Coromandel, at 11 a.m., 26th June, 1871.

IT is hereby notified for general information that the undermentioned persons have been appointed Inspectors of Sheep, namely:

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested in that behalf by "The Impounding Act, 1867," I do hereby abolish as a Public Pound, those premises situate at West Hamilton, known as Town Section No. 88, as notified in the Provincial Government Gazette No. 17, of date the 17th April, 1867; and I do hereby appoint in lieu thereof those premises situate at West Hamilton, known as Town Section No. 97, to be and be used as a Public Pound for the purposes of the said recited Act.
Given under my hand at Auckland this twenty-third day of June, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

to be the Keeper of the Public Pound at West Hamilton in the room of Mr. John Knox.
And I do hereby further notify that the fees and prices set forth in the following Schedule may be taken and charged by the said Keeper.

I. POUNDAGE FEES.
For every horse, mare, gelding, colt, filly, foal, mule or ass .......................... 2 6

For every ram, ewe, wether or lamb—for the first twenty .......................... 0 2

The above fees to be paid for each day or part of a day during which the animal is kept in pound.
