PROCLAMATION.

By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland

BY virtue of the powers and authority vested in me under the eleventh section of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” I do hereby temporarily reserve for the public purpose of a Common School site, until next session of the Provincial Council, all that piece or parcel of land containing three acres and three roods, more or less, and being allotment number fourteen of section number one of small lots near the village of Howick.

Given at Auckland under my hand and the public seal of the Province this twelfth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

HAURAKI GOLDFIELD.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 17th June, 1871.

IN pursuance of the 29th section of “The Goldfields Act, 1866,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant Leases for Gold Mining purposes to the applicants specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Leases.

Copies of the applications made, and Plans annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Grahamstown.
