I HEREBY notify that the several Chairmen of the after-named District Boards, under “The Highways Act, 1871,” have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons, duly appointed Members of those Boards respectively:—
PANMURE TOWNSHIP—MICHAEL MENTON, vice
Peter Malone, resigned.
ALBERTLAND, NORTH—EDMUND PILKINGTON,
vice R. Wharfe, deceased.
PUKEKARORO—CHARLES JUDD, ROBERT ROSS,
C. N. McMURDO, and HENRI GIBBONS, vice J. Waldron, disqualified through non-attendance, and T. W. Webster, William Leslie, and Angus Stewart, resigned.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1871,” that certified copies of the Assessment Lists for the MANAIA, and TOWN OF NGARUAWAHIA Highway Districts have been forwarded to this Office.

I THE undersigned, WALTER SULLY, hereby make application to Register “THE BRIGHT SMILE GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED,” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Amendment Act, 1869,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely—
- That the name and style of the Company is The Bright Smile Gold Mining Company, Registered.
- The place of operations is at the Wio Karaka Creek, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
- The nominal capital of the Company is Two thousand seven hundred pounds in Three thousand six hundred shares of 15s. each.
- The amount paid up is Nil.
- The name of the Manager is WALTER SULLY.
- The office of the Company is at Grahamstown.
- The names and several residences of the share-holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows, namely:—

- The name and style of the Company is The Mary Ellen Gold Mining Company, Registered.
- The place of operations is at the Upper Karaka, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
