LICENSES

Licenses to kill and sell Game are now issuable at the Superintendent’s Office, Auckland.

The undermentioned persons have been appointed to issue Shilling Licenses to kill Game, in the country districts:

  • WHANGAREI—Jas. Rust, Esq., J.P.
  • WAIPU—Murdoch McLeod, Esq., M.P.C.
  • WAIKU—Philip H. King, Esq.
  • PAPAKURA—The Clerk to the Bench.
  • HAMILTON—The Clerk to the Bench.

Printed forms of application for these can be obtained gratis.


PROCLAMATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

By virtue of the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent under the 11th Section of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” I do hereby temporarily reserve for educational purposes, until the next session of the Auckland Provincial Council, all those pieces or parcels of land in the Province of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 33 perches more or less, and being allotments Nos. 123 and 124 of the Parish of Kaiwaka, in the County of Marsden.

Given under my hand and the public seal of the said Province this fourth day of May, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

PROCLAMATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me, as Superintendent aforesaid, by an act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled “An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs” (Session 1, No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of publication hereof, the said Act shall come into operation within the District of Parawai, as constituted under “The Highways Act, 1871.”

Given under my hand and the public seal of the Province of Auckland this fourth day of May One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.
