PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
It is hereby notified that the Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed during the period commencing on Friday, the 7th instant, and ending on Tuesday following, the 11th, both days inclusive, for the Easter Holidays.
It is also notified that all Claims upon the Thames and Coromandel Goldfields will be deemed to be duly protected during the said period.

Mr. Daniel Garvey.
Mr. William Sowter Greenville.

And I do hereby further appoint the first meeting of the said Board to take place at the Provincial Government Buildings, Grahamstown, on Monday, the 17th day of April instant, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

HEREBY notify that the under-mentioned person has been this day elected a Member of the Auckland City Board of Commissioners for the Wards set opposite their respective names:
Frederick George Dalton, Esq., M.R.C.S., of Port Albert, Surgeon, to be a Vaccination Officer for the district of Marsden, in the place of Dr. James Bell, deceased; to attend at such places within the said district as may be deemed expedient, for the purpose of performing vaccination, from time to time, as required.
