PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 25th January, 1870.

I HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the First Meeting of the Electors of the Pukekura District, under "The Highways Act 1867," has reported, in writing, to me the names of the undermentioned gentlemen, duly elected Highway Trustees for that District:—

Mr. John Fisher.
Mr. Thomas Douglas.
Mr. William Sturges.
Mr. J. Bean.
Mr. William Howie.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 26th January 1870.

IT is hereby notified that Tenders, in writing will be received, at this Office, until twelve o’clock, noon of Monday, the 28th February proximo, for the exclusive Right to Cut Flax for the purpose of manufacture upon the Government land at Mercury Bay, specified in the Schedule hereunder. The conditions may be seen at this office.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 27th January, 1870.

IT is hereby notified that, from and after this date, instead of the Annual Fee of Five Pounds (£5) chargeable upon Licenses to Gold Field Surveyors and Mining Surveyors, an Examination Fee (not annual) of Two pounds two shillings (£2 2s.) shall be payable to the Provincial Treasurer in respect of each such License to be issued hereafter.

Annexed is a Schedule of the names of all duly licensed Surveyors at the present time, whose Licenses will continue in force until revoked.
