NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Turanganui, on the 25th day of November next and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant. Name and locality of Block. Boundaries of the lands as translated from the claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Karauria Pahura Kopuni, Tologa Bay The boundary commences at the mouth of the Kopuni River and goes on to its source, goes on from there to Wharekaka, goes from thence along Government boundary to Pirau, and goes from Pirau to the mouth of the Kopuni River. The Maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed, can be seen at the Court-house of the Resident Magistrate, Turanganui.
Hirini Te Kani, Rutene, Te Eke, Hetekia, Paora Parau, Te Paraone, Matiaha, Maaka, Hunia Kehukehu, Hare Waihe, Te Hapi, and others Pouawa, near Turanga The boundary commences at the mouth of the Hamanatua, and goes along in that river until it reaches Okiokitu, goes then straight on to Kopakiraho, goes along then in the Waimata River to Waihekura, and then straight on to the Pouawa River, goes then along in the Pouawa River to the sea, and then along the beach to the commencing point.
Epiniha and others Hikuwai, Uawa The boundary of this land commences at Te Karaka, and goes on to Te Whaakau, Mataiawa, then goes into the water and then on to Houama, Makakariki, Onetohu, Te Umumanu, Pauariki, Te Arohata, Uetapapa, and then strikes the commencing point.
Raiha Atkins, Makauri, Parapara, Arapeta Te Haenga Omanu, Kokopa Waiotauta is one boundary and the sea is another. There are 20 acres.
Kerehona Piwaka, Matiaha Te Aori, Hone Niwa, Wi Paki Tuatara, Rutene Te Korona, Enoka Tamitami, Hone Meihana Tamaroro, Hori Kiugi Te Hame, Puka Harua, Wi’atene, Tohukore, Hare Nohonoho, Wiremu Kingi Manini, Apiata Whangara, Parehui, Paora Hokotaro, Turanga Hone Huru Te He, Anaru Taruke, Rawi Pouiahi, Poihipi Hutahuta, Hori Haehaepo, Horomona Turaki, Nikorima Te Whitu, Hare Whana, Wiremu Pere Te Ariki, Paratene Tototahi, Hoani Niwa, Rihara Katikati, and Paraone Hinaki Whangara, near Turanga The boundary commences at the mouth of the Pouawa River, goes by that river until it reaches Tikohorahora, and thence straight on to Paengakawakawa, goes then by the river until it reaches the surveyed line on this side of Ponapona, thence straight on to Waimanu and Pa-Te-Ika, goes on then to Whakatihi, Rangiora and Kirimu Kaipu, then turns and goes straight on to Kaingaroa at the Pakarae River, goes then by that river until it reaches the sea, goes then by the sea until it reaches the mouth of the Pouawa River.
