HAURAKI GOLD FIELD.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 26th September, 1870.
IN pursuance of the 29th Section of “The Gold Fields Act, 1866,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes to the Applicant specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Lease.
Copy of the Application made, and Plan annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Grahamstown.

SCHEDULE.
ROBERT BLEAZARD ; 15 years’ lease of 10 acres more or less ; bounded by ground applied for by R. Bleazard on the 2nd of September, 1870, by the “Californian” Company’s leased ground, and by unoccupied ground, Tararu ; application received in Warden’s Office, Grahamstown, at 10.30 a.m., 24th September, 1870, No. 793.

WHEREAS, by an Order in Council made on the 4th day of May, 1869, it was ordered by His Excellency the Governor in Council, under the authority of “The Native Lands Act, 1865,” and “The Native Lands Act, 1867,” that the Claim of Hakiriwhi and others, to a piece of land called Te Aroha, situate at the Upper Thames, heard and determined by the Native Lands Court of New Zealand on the 22nd day of February, 1869, should be re-heard before two Judges and two Assessors of the Court, and that such re-hearing shall take place before the 31st day of December next.
Now, I hereby give Notice, that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Auckland, on the 20th December, 1870, for the re-hearing of the aforesaid claim.
