AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.
City Board of Commissioners' Office,
Auckland, 18th September, 1870.
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Board of Commissioners, under the powers delegated to them by His Honour the Superintendent, have this day appointed Mr. William Anderson, Inspector of Buildings, under "The Auckland Building Act, 1858," and the Extension Act, 1866.

VICTORIA, by the grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen.—To John Mowbray, of the City of Auckland, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Trustee in the Estate of S.M. Green and Co., Bankrupts.
WHEREAS an action is now pending in our Supreme Court of New Zealand, Northern District, Province of Auckland, between the Bank of New Zealand as plaintiffs, Alexander Eastgate as defendant, and in order that the plaintiffs may proceed to the said action, WE COMMAND YOU that you do retain and keep all and singular the lands and other hereditaments, moneys, goods, and chattels, bills, bonds, and other property of whatsoever nature in the custody of or under the control of you at the time of the service of this writ belonging to the above-named defendant or to or in which such defendant shall at any time be legally or equitably entitled or otherwise beneficially interested, and whether solely or jointly with any other person or persons, and all debts of every kind then due by you to such defendant, although the same or any part thereof may be payable only at a future day.
Witness—His Honor Sir George Arney, Knight, Chief Justice of our Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Auckland, this fourteenth day of September, One thousand eight hundred and seventy.
