HAURAKI GOLD FIELD.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN pursuance of the 29th Section of “The Gold Fields Act, 1866,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes to the Applicant specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Lease.

Copy of the Application made, and Plan annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Grahamstown.

C. J. STONE, for the Moanatairi Gold Mining Company, Registered; 15 years’ lease of 2 acres; bounded on the East by the “Auckland” or “Midnight” Gold Mining Company’s ground, and on the South-west by the “Moanatairi” Company’s ground, Karaka; known as the “New Pai Mairiri” and “Alpha” Claims; held under Miners’ Rights. Application received in Warden’s Office, Grahamstown, at 10.30 a.m, 12th August, 1870, No. 782.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IT is hereby notified that the Applications for Mining Leases set forth in the Schedule hereunder are treated as abandoned, on account of non-survey, and that the land therein mentioned, in so far as not occupied under Miners’ Rights, is now open for occupation.
