PROCLAMATION.
By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me, as Superintendent aforesaid, by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled “An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs” (Session 1, No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of publication hereof, the said Act shall come into operation within the Districts of
Parnell,
Great North Road,
and Karangahape,
as constituted under “The Highways Act, 1867.”

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me, as Superintendent aforesaid, by “The Impounding Act, 1867,” I do hereby declare that, on and after the date of publication hereof, the District known as
The Karangahape Highway District,
shall be and become an Impounding District for the purposes of the said Act.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this twenty-second day of March, One thousand eight hundred and seventy.

PROCLAMATION.

Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
By virtue of the powers in me vested by the “Thistle Act, 1858,” I do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall forthwith come into operation within the Karangahape Highway District, according to the limits thereof already defined; and by virtue of the powers in me vested by “The Highways Act, 1867,” I do hereby delegate to the Highway Trustees of the said District the powers and authority vested in me by Sections 4, 5, and 9 of the “Thistle Act, 1858,” aforesaid.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 22nd March, 1870.
In pursuance of the 29th section of “The Gold Fields Act, 1866,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Lease.
Copy of the application made, and plan annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Shortland.
