Graham’s lease, Whakatete, fronting the
beach, nearly two miles from Tararu;
known as “Earl of Carrick” claim; application notified in Gazette No. 76, dated
7th October, 1869, page 1301; withdrawn

N. W. MASSEY, 15 years’ lease of 4 acres more or
less; bounded on the South by the “John
O’Groats” and “Matakana” claims, on
the West by the “Royal Sovereign” claim,
on the East by the “Golden Mint” claim
and on the North by the vacant ground,
known as the “Otago” Gold Mining Company’s claim; application notified in Gazette
No. 46, dated 21st July, 1869, page 623;

ANDREW W. COLLINS, for William McGuire; 10
years’ lease of 2 acres, more or less;
bounded on the East by the “Alabama” and
on the West by the “Royal Standard” claims,
Kennedy’s Bay; known as the “Pride of
the West” claim; application notified in
Gazette No. 88, dated 17th November, 1869,
page 1576; withdrawn 2nd February, 1870.

REGINALD WILLIAM NUTTALL, for self and party;
15 years’ lease of 15 acres, in the vicinity of
the “New Zealand” Gold Mining Company,
Paul’s Creek, Coromandel; known as the
“Specimen Hill” Gold Mining Company’s
claim; application notified in Gazette No.
3, dated 8th January, 1870, page 17;
withdrawn 5th February, 1870.

hereunder, have been withdrawn, and the land there-
in mentioned, in so far as not occupied under Miners’
Rights, is now open for occupation.

WILLIAM BOYLE, for self and others; 15 years’ lease
of about 12 acres; bounded on the North
side by the “Argus,” late “Dr. Livingstone”
lease, Puriri; application notified in Gazette
No. 80, dated 22nd October, 1869, page
1381; withdrawn 1st February, 1870.

HENRY CHARLES LAWLER, 21 years’ lease of 8 acres;
situated between Waiotahi and Moanataiari
creeks, and adjoining “Golden Age”
known as “Hauraki,” “Harp and Eagle,”
“Bunker’s Hill,” “Mount Ararat,” and
“Malahide” claims; application notified
in Gazette No. 67, dated 17th September,
1869, page 1095; withdrawn 1st February,
1870.

JAMES BUCKLEY, for self and others; 15 years’ lease
of 16 acres; situated at the head of the
Karaka creek, Thames Gold Field, and
bounded by “Britannia” Gold Mining
Company, the “Nevado” Gold Mining
Company, “Peruvian” Gold Mining
Company, and Macdonald’s lease and Dillon’s
reef; known as “Sandy Creek” Gold Mining
Company’s claim; application notified in
Gazette No. 68, dated 15th September, 1869,
page 1030; withdrawn 3rd February, 1870.

MARK GLASS AND JOHN KING, for the City of
Athens
Gold Mining Company; 15 years’
lease of 16 acres more or less; situate in
Coromandel, bounded on one side by the
following claims:— “City of Glasgow,”
“Hidden Treasure,” “Pretty Annie,” “Royal
Sovereign,” “City of Glasgow No. 2,” and
the “Long Drive;” known as the “City of
Athens;” application notified in Gazette No.
73, dated 29th September, 1869, page 1228;
withdrawn 1st February, 1870.

ROBERT WORKMAN, 15 years’ lease of 16 acres,
situated at the Upper Karaka and bounded
on the South-east by the “Brandon Hill”
Lease, on the North-west by leased ground,
and on the North-east and South-west by
unoccupied ground; application notified in
