I HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the Board of Highway Trustees for the PAPAKURA District has communicated to me the appointment of
MR. THOMAS ALLEN
as Collector of Highway Rates for the current year.

IN pursuance of the sixth Clause of “The Slaughter House Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified that an application has been made to me by
MR. JOHN FISHER, of Auckland,
for a Private Slaughter House License to the premises known as Ellerslie Farm.
Objections against the granting of such License must be lodged at this Office within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.

for a Private Slaughterhouse License to the premises known as Neil’s Stonehouse, Panmure Road.
Objections against the granting of such License must be lodged at this Office within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.

CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that the parties who have already made claims in the above-mentioned case, and all others interested therein, are requested to appear before me at the District Court, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 8th day of February, 1870, at the hour of 10 o’clock, a.m., for the purpose (if necessary) of fixing a day for re-hearing the same.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this 14th day of December, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC.
Crown Lands Office,
Auckland, 6th December, 1869.
REFERRING to the Notice issued from this Office, and published on the 19th July last, warning people that no part of the sea shore from Cape Colville to the Kauaeranga River, being the land between high and low water mark, had been included within any Goldfield, and that no person whatever had the right to enter upon or occupy any part of the said land for the purpose of mining for gold: Notice is hereby given that proceedings will be immediately commenced against any person or persons whomsoever found after this date mining for gold upon the said land or otherwise unlawfully intruding upon or occupying the said land for any purpose whatever.
