NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Kapanga, Coromandel, on the 4th of January, 1870, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant. Name and locality of Block. Boundaries of the lands as translated from the Claims Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Hohepa Kapene Rehara, Rapana, Inia, Pirihira, Paora, and Riria Haunoni, near Kapanga Bounded on the West by the sea; on the North by the Taihaperahi stream; on the East by the high ridge of Rangiuru; and on the South by the ridge of Tikitiki-a-tongia until it comes to the sea. The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen in the office of the Inspector of Surveys, Auckland.
Kapanga Te Arakuri Parangu No. 10, near Coromandel A small piece of land near the mouth of the Kapanga river.
Kapanga Te Arakuri Parangu, No. 11, near Coromandel A small piece of land by the side of the road near the landing place, between Mr. Ring's and Mr. Holloway's land.
Harata Kanuheke and Ema Te Aoura Motutere, near Coromandel Commencing at Onukuroto, on the main ridge, it runs along the ridge till it comes to Motutere, and leaves Motutere inside the boundary and goes to the source of Matawai; it follows that river to the boundary of William Moore's land; it follows that boundary until it comes to the commencing point.
Hamuera, Karauria, Tairoa, Hata Papa, and Hona Taiawa Paraemauku, near Waiaro The boundary is the Waiaro river; it descends to the ridge of Moehau; it follows the ridge and ends in the valley; it runs down to the creek; it then goes along a ridge and meets the Waiaro river.
Wiremu Keepa Hoete, Utawaka, Tipipo Rawiri, Maebe Maritaia, Hau-taku, Mere Awitu, Rangiokioki Mataawai, near Coromandel The boundary is at Motutere; the Waiau river is the Northern boundary; and the Whangapoua block is the South boundary.
Wiremu Keepa Hoete, Titipo Rawiri, Maebe Maritaia, Te Hautaku, Utawaka Pua, Meri Awitu, Rangiokioki, Te Reinga, and Te Hurangi Te Onekura, near Coromandel On the other side of Arikitahi the boundary is at Mangakotukutuku and at Niho-o-tomoua, six miles inland and two miles along the Waiau river.
