PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
In pursuance of the powers in me vested by the third clause of "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby notify for general information, that I have altered and amended the boundaries of the Karangahape District under the said Act, as hereunder set forth.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this fourth day of October,
One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

KARANGAHAPE DISTRICT.
Former boundaries defined in Gazette No. 48, 5th October, 1868, page 431.
Amended Boundaries.
Bounded towards the North by the centre of Karangahape road, from the North-western angle of allotment No. 12 of section No. 7 of the suburbs of Auckland to its junction with Symonds-street; towards the East by the centre of Symonds-street aforesaid, from its junction with the Karangahape Road to the South-eastern angle of allotment No. 2 of section No. 7 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid; towards the South by the Southern boundary of allotment No. 2 of section and suburbs aforesaid; and towards the South-west by the South-western boundaries of allotments No. 5 and 12 of section No. 7 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, to the North-western angle of allotment No. 12 first mentioned, the point of commencement.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 1st October, 1869.
The following Rules and Regulations shall from this date be in force for and in respect of the Public Ferry at Te Rori, in lieu of those published in the Provincial Government Gazette of date the 1st September ultimo.

The undermentioned charges or fees, and no more, shall be levied upon persons crossing or using the Ferry:
For each passenger ... 1d.
" horse, mule, or head of neat cattle ... 2d.
" sheep, pig, or goat ... 1d.
" dray, cart, carriage, or other four-wheeled vehicle ... 6d.
" load of hay or straw ... 6d.
" single bag or package of merchandise ... 1d.
