THE undersigned, Walter Dowden, hereby make application to register "The St. Katherine Gold Mining Company (Registered)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

1. The name and style of the Company is "The St. Katherine Gold Mining Company (Registered)."

2. The place of operations is at the Waio-tahi Ridge, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

3. The nominal capital of the Company is Four thousand Pounds, in Eight hundred shares of Five Pounds each.

4. The amount already paid up is represented by Three thousand two hundred Pounds, the estimated value of the mine.

5. The name of the Manager is Walter Dowden.

6. The Office of the Company is at Albert-street, Grahamstown, Thames.

1. That the name and style of the Company is "The Bell Rock Extended Gold Mining Company (Registered)."

2. That the place of operations is at the Upper Karaka, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

3. That the nominal capital of the Company is Twenty-one thousand Pounds, in Twenty-one thousand shares of One Pound each.

4. That the amount paid up is represented by Fifteen thousand seven hundred and fifty Pounds, the estimated value of the ground.

5. That the name of the Manager is Walter Dowden.

6. That the Office of the Company is in Albert-street, Grahamstown.
