THE undersigned, John Worth Pearse, hereby make application to register “The True Briton No. 2 Gold Mining Company (Registered),” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is, ‘The True Briton No. 2 Gold Mining Company (Registered).’

  2. The place of operation is at the Karaka Creek, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Eight thousand Pounds, in Eight thousand shares of One Pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Four thousand two hundred Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is John Worth Pearse.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Owen-street, Grahamstown.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follow, viz.:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is “The Middle Star Extended Gold Mining Company (Registered).”

  2. The place of operations is at the Moanataiari Creek and Wiseman’s Gully, at the Thames Goldfield.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Thirty thousand Pounds, in Thirty thousand shares of One Pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Twenty-five thousand two hundred Pounds sterling.

  5. The name of the Manager is John Worth Pearse.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Owen-street, Grahamstown.
