The undersigned, Lowther Broad, hereby make application to register “The Duke of Magenta Gold-Mining Company (Registered),” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—
- The name and style of the Company is “The Duke of Magenta Gold-Mining Company (Registered).”
- The place of operations is at Grahamstown, at the Thames Goldfield, in the province of Auckland, in the colony of New Zealand.
- The nominal Capital of the Company is One hundred thousand Pounds, in Twenty thousand shares of Five Pounds each.
- The amount already paid up is Eighty thousand Pounds.
- The name of the Manager is Lowther Broad.
- The Office of the Company is at Grahamstown.
- The names and several residences of the Shareholders, and the number of Shares held by each at this date, are as follow, namely:
