PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Deputy Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
IN pursuance of the power in the Superin-
tendent vested by the fourth Clause of
"The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby bring
the said Act into operation within the
District of Piriongia, and appoint the First
Meeting of the Electors to take place at the
Block-house, Harapipi, on Monday, the fifth
day of July proximo, at two o’clock in the
afternoon.

this second day of June, One
thousand eight hundred and
sixty-nine.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Deputy Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
TENDERS will be received at this Office,
until noon of Monday, the 21st instant,
for the under-mentioned supplies, for the
Provincial Government, during the period of
six months, commencing on the 1st July
proximo.
Printed Forms of Tender are obtainable at
this Office, where the conditions of the
several Contracts can be ascertained.

the Auckland Provincial Government
Gazette, dated the 14th of May, 1869, it was
notified that it was intended to grant a Lease
for Gold-Mining purposes of Crown Land,
situate near Graham’s Town, Thames Gold
Fields, to Edwin Torrens Brassenden, upon
his application dated the 5th day of
May, 1869:
Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the
said applicant, Edwin Torrens Brassenden,
has withdrawn such application.
Given under my hand, at Auckland,
this second day of June, One
thousand eight hundred and
sixty-nine.
