On the day of 18 the chain used on the surveys made by me under the Auckland Gold Fields Regulations, was duly tested by me at the Standard Measure at and on the day of 18 the used by me was duly tested for variation at the Meridian Line as laid down when the variation was determined as being ; the last test made being.

The said Map having been duly examined in this office, is believed to be correct, and has been approved of by me accordingly.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By Every Maclean, Esquire,
Deputy-Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
By virtue of the powers in the Superintendent vested by the fourteenth section of "The Common Schools Act, 1869," I do hereby notify that that portion of the Province of Auckland comprised within the boundaries of the Highway District known by the name of "The Town of Raglan District," as constituted by notification in the Government Gazette of the Province of Auckland, No. 22, 17th April, 1868, page 190, shall be an Educational District under the said Act, to be called—
THE TOWN OF RAGLAN EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
And I do hereby appoint a Meeting of the resident occupiers of land and householders to take place at the Raglan Hotel, Raglan on Saturday, the nineteenth day of June inst., at two o'clock in the afternoon, to appoint a Chairman, elect a School Committee, and for the other purposes set forth in the fourteenth section of the said Act.

this second day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

By virtue of the powers in the Superintendent vested by the fourteenth section of "The Common Schools Act, 1869," I do hereby notify that that portion of the Province of Auckland comprised within the boundaries of the Highway District known by the name of "The Devonport Highway District," as constituted by notifications in the Government Gazette of the Province of Auckland, No. 26, 14th July, 1866, page 183, and No. 8, 19th February, 1869, page 97, shall be an Educational District under the said Act, to be called—
THE DEVONPORT EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
