Sub-District No. 1.
This Sub-district shall comprise so much of
the Province of Auckland as lies to the north
of the north-western boundary of Maxwell’s
claim.
Sub-District No. 2.
This Sub-district shall comprise all those lands
included within the boundaries of the Ahipara
Highway District, the limits of which
are defined in Provincial Gazette No. 58,
31st December, 1867.
Sub-District No. 3.
Bounded towards the north by Doubtless
Bay and the sea from Cape Karakara to the
western head of Whangaroa harbour; towards
the south-east by the northern boundary of
the Electoral District of the Bay of Islands;
towards the south-west by the south-eastern
and part of the northern boundaries of the
Ahipara Highway District aforesaid; and
towards the west by the Rangaumu harbour
and the sea to Cape Karakara aforesaid, the
place of commencement, including the adjacent islands.

Superintendent, of the Province of Auckland, intituled

“The Sick and Destitute Act, 1868;”
having been laid before the Governor, His
Excellency has been advised not to exercise
his power of disallowance in respect of those
Bills.

at the Waste Lands Office, at Auckland, on
Monday, the 26th day of October, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, at the hour of twelve o’clock, noon.
