to be Deputy Waste Lands Commissioner for the Province of Auckland.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN pursuance of the power in me vested by the fourth section of “The Highways Act, 1867,” I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the District of ALBERTLAND SOUTH, and appoint the First Meeting of the Electors to take place in the Chapel at Port Albert, on Tuesday, the fourteenth day of July, instant, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this third day of July, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.
