PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

WAIKATO LAND.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in me as the Commissioner appointed by His Excellency the Governor, to carry out the Regulations for the sale of Lands taken for settlement under “The New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863,” in the Province of Auckland, I do hereby notify that the Lands specified in the Schedule hereunder written will be open for selection and Sale, as General Rural Land, in accordance with the said Regulations, at the Waste Lands Office, at Auckland, on Thursday, the 14th day of May, 1868.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the fifteenth clause of “The Impounding Act, 1867,” I do hereby declare that the boundaries of the Impounding District of SHORTLAND, under the said Act, as defined by a notification bearing date the 16th day of March last, and published in the Provincial Government Gazette of date the 19th March, shall from and after this date be the same as the limits of the Gold Field in the District of Thames, Province of Auckland, as set forth by Proclamation in the said Gazette of this date.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this sixteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.
