NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
All Communications for the Editor of the New Zealand Gazette, to be addressed to the Editor of the New Zealand Gazette, at the Government Printing Office, Auckland.
PUBLIC WORKS.
TENDERS FOR THE ERECTION OF A GOVERNMENT BUILDING AT KAIPARA.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Auckland, until noon of the 15th February, for the erection and completion of a Lock-up and Court House at Kaipara.
Plans and Specifications can be seen at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Auckland; and at the office of the Resident Magistrate, Mongonui.
Security for the due performance of the Contract, to the amount of £50, must be deposited with the tender.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

TENDERS FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF THE MAILS.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Provincial Secretary, Auckland, until noon of Thursday, the 15th day of February, 1855, for the Conveyance of the Mails as follows:
- From Auckland to Mongonui, once a week, for six months, commencing 1st March, 1855.
- From Auckland to Coromandel, once a week, for six months, commencing 1st March, 1855.
The Tenderer must state the amount of his tender, the time within which he will undertake to convey the mails, and must deposit with the Tender the sum of £25 as security for the due performance of the contract.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

NOTICE TO SCHOOLMASTERS.
THE Board of Education will hold their next meeting at the Supreme Court House, Auckland, on Thursday, the 15th day of February, at 11 o’clock.
Schoolmasters are requested to transmit their Quarterly Reports on or before that day.

The following Applications for Licenses to occupy Waste Lands of the Crown have been received, and will be determined on the 20th day of February, 1855.
