TOWN OF ONEHUNGA.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act made and passed by the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, with the advice and consent of the Provincial Council thereof, intituled "The Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866," it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may from time to time, by public notification in the Provincial Government Gazette, appoint and define the limits of cities, towns, and other places, within the Province of Auckland, for the purposes of this Act:

Now therefore I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, pursuant to the authority vested in me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that for the purposes of the said "Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866," the limits of the Town of Onehunga, within which the said Act shall from the date hereof come into force, shall comprise all those lands that are bounded on the north by the centre of Mount Smart Road from the north-western angle of section 18 of the Suburbs of Auckland to the north-eastern angle of lot 18 of Small Lots near Onehunga; on the east by section 17 of the Suburbs of Auckland; on the south by the Manukau Harbour; and on the west by section 18 of the Suburbs of Auckland.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this eighteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS, by an Act passed by the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland with the advice and consent of the Provincial Council, intituled "The Impounding Act, 1867," it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may from time to time by public notification in the Provincial Government Gazette appoint and define the limits of Impounding Districts within the said Province:

Now therefore I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, do hereby declare that the lands hereinafter described shall be an Impounding District under the said Act: that is to say...

THE DISTRICT OF SHORTLAND,...
Comprising all those lands that are bounded on the west by the sea, on the south-west and south by the Wai Whuka Urunga Creek, to the Church Mission Station, on the east by a line on a bearing of north 37° west from the Church Mission Station to the Karaka Stream, and on the north by the Karaka Stream to the sea.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this sixteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS, by a notification bearing date the second day of March instant, I, John Williamson, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, did in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the third section of "The Highways Act, 1867," notify for general information that I had altered and amended the boundaries of the Pukeroke District under the said Act;

And whereas it is expedient that the said Pukeroke District should be restored to its former boundaries;

Now, therefore, I, John Williamson, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers vested in me in that behalf, do hereby notify for general information that I have again altered and amended the boundaries of the said Pukeroke District to their former area, as described in the Provincial Government Gazette, of date the twenty-sixth day of September last.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this sixteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.
