I HEREBY notify for general information, that a Writ, issued by me on the twenty-eighth day of November, 1867, for the election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of the Town of Onehunga, has been returned with an endorsement thereon as follows:—
"I, John Jermyn Symonds, Esquire, the Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the Town of Onehunga, do hereby declare that in pursuance of the Writ to me directed, bearing date the twenty-eighth day of November, 1867, the undermen-tioned Candidate is duly elected a Member of the Provincial Council for the said District."
