14.—PAKIRI DISTRICT.
Bounded on the north-east by the sea, from Te Arai point to the south head of the Pakiri river; on the south-east by the western boundary of the Omaha Highway District before described, and by the south-eastern boundary of the parish of Pakiri; on the south-west by the north-east boundary of the Tauhoa block, and on the north-west by the eastern boundary of the Oruawhero block, and the south-eastern boundary of the Mangawai block to the point of commencement.
15.—ARARATUA DISTRICT.
Bounded on the north by the Kaukapakapa stream; on the east by the western boundary of the Weiti District; on the south-east and south by the north-western boundary of the North Shore District, the Rangitopuni stream, the Waitemata river, Brigham’s creek, and the northern boundary of lot No. 1 of the parish of Waipareira; on the south-west by the Kumeu and Kaipara rivers to the confluence of the latter river with the Kaukapakapa stream.
16.—MATAKANA DISTRICT.
Bounded on the north and north-east by the Omaha Highway District, from the Tamahunga mountain to the Wangateau harbour, and by said harbour and the sea, to Point Tawaranui; on the south-east by the sea, on the south by the Matakana harbour and the northern boundary of the Upper Mahurangi Highways District to the Dome; and on the north-west by a line from thence to the Tamahunga mountain aforesaid, exclusive of all Government towns and villages within the before mentioned boundaries.

I DO hereby, in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by the third section of "The Highways Act, 1867," notify, that I have divided, for the purposes of the said Act, all that portion of the Province of Auckland, bounded on the north and east by the sea; on the south by the southern boundary of the Hoho block and the south-eastern boundary of the Hahei block, and by the same boundary produced to a distance of 2 miles; on the west by a right line from the south-western termination of the boundary last described to the south-east angle of the Mahakirau block, and by the southern boundary of the Mahakirau block aforesaid, and thence in a direct line to Kereta bay; and on the west by the gulf of the Thames and Waikeke channel, including the Great Barrier and Waikeke islands; into the following Districts with the descriptive names and boundaries undermentioned:

1.—DISTRICT OF WAIHEKE.
The whole of the island of that name.
2.—DISTRICT OF COROMANDEL.
Bounded on the north-east by the sea from Cape Colville to the north head of Wangapo harbour; on the east by the western shore of the Wangapo harbour aforesaid, the Wangapo creek, and Castle Hill range, to the Hakarimata range aforesaid, and a right line to Kerita bay; and on the south-west by the sea from Kerita bay aforesaid, to Cape Colville, the point of commencement, including the island of Wanganui and adjacent isles, exclusive of the township of Coromandel.
3.—DISTRICT OF MERCURY BAY.
Bounded on the north by the sea from the south head of Wangapo harbour to Tokarahi point; on the east by the sea and Mercury bay, from Tokarahi point aforesaid to the southern boundary of the Hoho block; on the south by the southern boundary of the Hoho block aforesaid, and the south-eastern boundary of the Hahei block produced a distance of about 2 miles; and on the west by a right line from the south-western termination of the boundary last described, to the south-east angle of the Mahakirau block, the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block, the Castle Hill range, the Wangapo creek and Wangapo harbour, to the point of commencement, including the Mercury and adjacent islands.
4.—GREAT BARRIER ISLAND.
The whole of the island of that name.

I DO hereby, in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by the third section of "The Highways Act, 1867," notify that I have divided, for the purposes of the said Act, all that portion of the Province of Auckland, comprised within the limits of the confiscated territory in the Bay of Plenty district, into the following Districts, with the descriptive names and boundaries undermentioned.
