PUBLIC FERRY AT RAGLAN.

TENDERS FOR FERRY SERVICE.

TENDERS will be received at this office
untill noon of Saturday the 21st
September, proximo, for the performance of
the Ferry Service at Raglan, under the
Scale of Charges under noted, from the 1st
October to the 31st December, 1867.

A Specification of the conditions of the
Service may be seen, upon application to
this office, or at the Resident Magistrate’s
Court, Raglan.

Tenders to be endorsed “Tenders for
Raglan Ferry Service.”

SCALE OF CHARGES.

FOR every person crossing between sun
rise and sunset, Sixpence.
For every horse crossing between sunrise
and sunset, One Shilling.

From sunset till ten o’clock p.m., one-half
additional charge may be made; from ten
o’clock p.m. till sunrise, double fare may be
charged.

All Carriers of Her Majesty’s Mails,
Government Despatches, or Telegrams,
together with their horses, mail bags, boxes,
etc., shall be exempt from the payment of
these charges.
