PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Deputy Superintendent of
the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf, I hereby notify for public information, that all those pieces or parcels of land set forth in the Schedule hereunder written, will be offered for sale, at the Wasto Lands Office, at Auckland, at 12 o’clock noon, on Wednesday, the 25th day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven, as Special Settlement Land.
Given under my hand at Auckland, in the said Province, this sixteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

BY virtue of the powers vested in the Superintendent by section 42 of “The Highways Act, 1867,” I do hereby delegate to the Highway Trustees of the Lake District, North Shore, the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent, by sections 4, 5 and 9, of the “Thistle Act, 1858.”

BY virtue of the powers vested in the Superintendent, by the third section of “The Highways Act, 1867,” I do hereby notify, that the portion of the Province of Auckland comprised within the boundaries hereunder described, shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say—
THE DISTRICT OF REMUERA,—
all those lands, bounded on the north by Orakei Creek and Hobson’s Bay to the mouth of the Slaughter House Creek, and by the north side of the Slaughter House Creek.
