PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Deputy Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers
vested in the Superintendent, by the
15th clause of the “Impounding Act, 1867,”
I do hereby declare that the lands comprised
within the several boundaries hereunder des-
cribed, shall be an Impounding District
under the said Act; that is to say,—
The District of Cambridge.
Bounded on the North-East by the centre
of the Mangaone Stream to its junction with
the Mangaomapu Stream; thence by the cen-
tre of the Mangaomapu Stream to its inter-
section with the road fronting lot 58 in
the Parish of Hautapu; on the North by
the centre of the said road, to its junction with a
road forming the Western boundary of lots
181 and 180 in the said Parish; thence on the
West by the centre of said road; on the
North-East by the centre of proposed tram-
way, fronting said lot 180; again on the
West by the Western boundary of lot 178;
again on the North by the Northern boundary
of lots 178 and 177; again on the West and
North by the West and North boundaries of
lot 174; again on the West and North by
the centre of a road forming the Western and
Northern boundary of lot 171 in the said
Parish; again on the West by Western
boundary of lots 172 and 173; again on the
North by Northern boundary of lot 173 in
the said Parish, and the same line produced
to its intersection with the boundary line of
the confiscated territory; on the North-East
by the boundary of the said confiscated
territory to Kopuahau; on the South-East by
the boundary of the said confiscated territory
to its junction with the Waikato River; on
the South and South-West by the centre of
said river to its junction with the Tamahere
Creek; thence by the centre of said creek
to its junction with the Mangaone Stream.

Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers
vested in the Superintendent in that
behalf by the “Impounding Act, 1867,” of
the Local Legislature of the Province of
Auckland, I hereby appoint those premises
adjoining the “Duke of Cambridge” Hotel, at
Cambridge, to be end be used as a Public
Pound for the purposes of the said Act.

the year of our Lord, One
thousand eight hundred and
sixty-seven.
